सार्स-सीओवी-2 वायरस के ओमीक्रॉन वैरिएंट की पुष्टि भारत में और विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) द्वारा कम से 30 अन्य देशों में की गई है ।
राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (एनआईए) ने बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट के वकील और कार्यकर्ता सुधा भारद्वाज को जमानत देने के आदेश के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया है। अपने जमानत आदेश में कोर्ट ने एनआईए कोर्ट से कहा है कि वह 8 दिसंबर को उसकी रिहाई के लिए शर्तें तय करे।
